Why we tune remotely

Built by riders, installers, and engineers who still love the tweak.

RemoteDSP started as a relief valve for riders and techs who were tired of waiting weeks for shop time just to hear “good enough.” We wanted a way to dial things in without making customers sacrifice weekends, miles, or workflow.

Where it started

We tuned our own baggers and studio rigs out of necessity.

Our crew comes from shop floors, home studios, and cross-country rides. We learned early that great sound comes from equal parts measurement, empathy, and plain-language communication. RemoteDSP is that mindset scaled and delivered from our desktops to your driveway.

RemoteDSP is a small team of engineers who spent years tuning bikes, boats, studio monitors, and club rigs in person. The travel grind and middlemen slowed everything down. So we moved everything remote—screen share, measurement review, and shared presets—saving riders, installers, and DJs hours of trailering and scheduling. Whether it’s a bagger, marine zone, or studio monitor chain, the process stays consistent.

  • First tests were Saturday morning bagger sessions streamed from a garage in Chicagoland.
  • We dialed in home control rooms for engineers who needed fast calibration before album mix deadlines.
  • The process kept spreading—friends to friends, riders to installers, hobbyists to pros.

Crew values

Three principles we never compromise.

Human-first tech

We pair calibrated measurement, DSP know-how, and listening sessions with real conversation. No jargon dumps—just the why behind every adjustment.

Documented diligence

Our remote workflow covers the same ground as in-person sessions: measurement capture, EQ, crossover setup, delay and limiter management, plus documentation and presets. Nothing is outsourced. The same tuner you talk with is the one moving the DSP sliders and exporting files, whether you’re working on an automotive, coach, or Slingshot build.

Access for every build

We tune for daily riders, competition rigs, editorial suites, and living rooms. If you’ve got a DSP and a measurement mic, we can help you make it sing.

The remote DSP checklist

  • DSP software pre-installed and verified
  • Measurement mic (UMIK-1 / UMM-6) connected and calibrated
  • Reliable internet (5 Mbps up) and remote access ready
  • A playlist of music you know inside and out

How we measure success

When you hit play after we disconnect and grin.

We track the essentials—target curves, phase relationships, crossovers, and gain structure—but we also listen for head-nod moments. If you can’t hear the difference instantly, we keep working until you do.

  • Most sessions wrap in 90 minutes with presets and screenshots in your inbox before we sign off.
  • We check back in within a week to see what stuck and what needs a tweak.
  • Need another pass inside 30 days? It’s included. No retainer required.
